Worship

Healing prayer is available for the purpose of praying for your emotional or physical healing. Southgate believes that Jesus Christ is still using the healing of the whole person to draw them into a loving relationship with Jesus. The Bible says that by His stripes we are healed and that He poured out His blood for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus commissioned his disciples to go out and heal the sick and cast out demons as the way to expand the Kingdom of God and to draw men unto Himself.


Come and join us for a time of worshipful music that will lead you into the presence of God and receive prayer in a safe setting from those who believe that Jesus Christ came to touch you personally. We give all glory to Jesus Christ for all healings because it is not by mans hands that we are healed but by the personal ministry of Jesus Christ.

Prayer for healing is encouraged whenever people meet at Southgate and during scheduled events such as Healing House. Healing House is designated specifically to pray for healing and we will pray together as a group for all requests.

Healing

We worship the Lord with song, prayer and thanksgiving celebrating His goodness in our lives. When we worship the Lord and come into His presence we become like Him whom we behold. Worship will transform our lives and it pleases the Lord. He says he inhabits the praises of His people.

Worship is a key element in the growth of your relationship with Jesus. We were created to worship God and minister to Him through prayer and worship. Throughout the Bible we see the people of God worshiping Him in songs, raising up their hands, falling prostrate before Him, dancing before Him and making a loud noise in praise for His many acts of kindness and goodness in our lives.

Worship opens the heavens and prepares our spirit to intimately fellowship with the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. As we worship the Lord, we grow in intimacy with Him and this intimacy changes our lives from the inside out. We become healed, transformed into His likeness and begin to have a taste of the relationship God originally intended for us to enjoy. Throughout the Bible we see God's desire to dwell with man and to be our God and for us to be His people.

We celebrate the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit in our worship and minister to Him through our songs, dance, banners, praise, worship and prayers! We expect God to pour out His Glory on His people during our worship because He says He inhabits the praises of His people and we are His people. We are in love with Him.
